Early and special ceramic bell by Paolo Soleri. Many craftspeople helped with producing work at Cosanti, however this work is signed with an "S" denoting that it was made by Soleri himself. Paolo Soleri (1919-1913), the founder of Cosanti and Arcosanti, was an important artist, architecture, philosopher and urban planner. The Italian architect studied with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in Arizona, and at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He would make his home and studio, Cosanti, near Taliesin West.
