Unique attribute to this piece is a bluish green patina. Paolo Soleri (1919-2013), the founder of Cosanti and Arcosanti, was an important artist, architecture, philosopher and urban planner. The Italian architect studied with Frank Lloyd Wright at Taliesin West in Arizona, and at Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin. He would make his home and studio, Cosanti, near Taliesin West.
